The Republic of Ireland Women’s National Team have been drawn in Group A2 for the upcoming FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
Carla Ward’s outfit will be joined in the group by France, Netherlands and Poland, who are placed 6th, 11th and 26th in the FIFA Women’s World Rankings.
Donegal native’s Amber Barrett and Tyler Toland as well as Anna Patten, who qualifies through her roots in Falcarragh, will all be hoping to play their in next year’s group stage.
The Girls in Green made their World Cup debut two years ago in Australia and they’ll be aiming to reach the major tournament once again in Brazil in 2027.
The World Cup Qualifiers will kick-off on 3 March 2026.
