Gardaí are investigating an assault on a man in his 50s following an incident in Letterkenny on Sunday night.
The incident happened outside a premises on Main Street shortly after 9pm.

Gardaí have confirmed that the man was transported by ambulance to Letterkenny University Hospital, where his condition is understood to be stable.
An area of Upper Main Street was cordoned off on Monday morning as investigations into the incident got underway.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
