STOBART Air are investigating an incident when led to a plane leaving the runaway at Donegal Airport on Wednesday evening.
The flight from Dublin veered off runway at the last minute but a major incident was averted.
“We can confirm that flight EI3408 from Dublin to Donegal experienced a minor issue upon landing on Wednesday evening. Due to strong cross wind gusts, the aircraft momentarily drifted from the runway before being immediately redirected back onto the paved surface and making its way as normal to its parking position. All 17 passengers disembarked the aircraft safely,” the Stobart Air statement read.
