Investigation underway after windows smashed at Lifford home

GARDAÍ are investigating a criminal damage incident in Lifford after stones were thrown at a house, breaking two windows.

The incident occurred at Cabhsa Cluain Lao, Gallows Lane, Lifford at approximately 9.50pm on Sunday, February 23.

A garda spokesperson said: “Stones were thrown at a house in that area at that time and as a result two front windows were smashed.”

Gardaí are appealing to anybody who may have observed suspicious activity in the area to make contact.

“We appeal to anybody who may have observed suspicious activity in the area to make contact with Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100,” a spokesperson said.

“If anybody travelled in that area with a dash cam between 9.30pm and 10pm on that date, we ask them to make the footage available to us.
