Investigation launched following discovery of body

GARDAI have launched an investigation following the discovery of a woman’s body in Milford this morning.

An area at Lough Road was sealed off following the discovery of the body in a house.

A Garda Spokesperson said: “Gardai in Milford are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a body of a female in her 40s in a house at Lough Road, Milford at 7am this morning. Investigations are ongoing.”
