THE Magheraroarty/Gortahork Road will remain closed until this afternoon following the death of a cyclist.
The man in his 40s died following a collision with a car. The crash occurred at Ards Beg, Gort an Choirce, at around 4pm yesterday.
The cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has been removed to Letterkenny Hospital.
The driver of the car was uninjured.
The stretch of road is currently closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and local diversions will remain in place until later today.
