Investigation launched at Letterkenny Hospital after medications go missing

AN internal investigation has been initiated by the management at Letterkenny General Hospital after a stock-take revealed that medications have gone missing.
A spokesperson for the HSE confirmed to the Donegal News that the investigation was initiated following an audit of medication stockholding in one department.

They confirmed that further action will be determined by the outcome of that investigation and stated that gardai are not involved.

The spokesperson concluded that Letterkenny General Hospital is not in a position to comment further on the matter at this stage.
