Investigation continuing into discovery of man’s body

GARDAÍ are continuing their investigations this afternoon following the discovery of a man’s body at a house in Letterkenny.

The male was discovered in a property at Sylvan Park just after 2am this morning. The state pathologist’s office has been informed and the coroner contacted.

“Gardaí are investigating all of the circumstances surrounding the death of a man whose body was discovered in a house in Letterkenny on Sunday, September 5,” said a spokesperson.

“The man’s death is currently being treated as unexplained and investigating gardaí await the results of a post-mortem examination to determine the course of the investigation.”
