Investigation after fire breaks out in Raphoe

AN investigation has been launched following the outbreak of a fire at a property on the Diamond in Raphoe in the early hours of this morning.

The fire broke out at around 4am and fire fighters managed to get the blaze under control but considerable damage has been caused.

A Spokesperson for the Gardai told the Donegal News: “Gardaí and the Fire Emergency Services were called to the scene of a fire at an unoccupied residence in Raphoe, Donegal at approximately 4am today. Significant fire damage to the rear and roof of the property. No injuries reported and the investigations are ongoing.”
