DONEGAL GAA Chairman Fergus McGee (pictured) says realistically it will be next month before the newly-approved Interim Implementation Team will begin work to oversee new ‘procedures and processes’ and get the county back on track.
It has been a turbulent year for Donegal GAA, with the Academy debacle grabbing a lot of attention as well as the selection of the senior team manager and the subsequent poor campaign that followed.
Donegal GAA requested help from Croke Park and Ulster GAA to get their affairs back in order and leading GAA officials carried out a review of the Donegal GAA Talent Academy, Finance, and Governance Structures.
Their report was compelling when released last month with 14 high-risk findings among its recommendations and observations.
