Inspiring businesses to believe – Local Enterprise Week proves a wonderful success

LOCAL Enterprise Week 2025 wrapped up on Friday, leaving Donegal businesses inspired and equipped with new ideas, connections, and strategies for growth.

With over 20 events hosted by the Local Enterprise Office Donegal and its partners, the week provided an invaluable platform for learning, networking, and innovation.

Throughout the week, key sectors such as digital, taxation, engineering, and tourism took centre stage, alongside an International Women’s Day celebration and a spotlight on sustainability leadership.

The week concluded on a high note with the ‘Made in Donegal: Business Summit & Showcase’ at the Mount Errigal Hotel.

Hosted by national broadcaster Ciara Doherty, the event brought together some of Donegal’s most influential business leaders, including Caroline Faulkner, Willie McCarter, and Edward McDaid. The afternoon shifted to leadership in sport, featuring inspiring talks from Joe Barr, Jim McGuinness, and Patsy McGonagle, alongside a showcase of Donegal’s finest artisan food and craft producers.
