IN PICTURES: Gaoth Dobhair hosts a night of Ukrainian tradition and celebration

ON Saturday evening, Ionad Naomh Pádraig in Dore, Gaoth Dobhair, came alive with the vibrant sights and sounds of Ukraine, as the local community gathered to celebrate Ukrainian Independence.

The event drew a large crowd, who enjoyed an evening filled with the rich cultural heritage of Ukraine, including music, dance, and an array of traditional foods.

Attendees were treated to a culinary showcase by Tryna Anastasiia and Amelina, who prepared a wide range of  dishes.

The evening’s entertainment was highlighted by a stunning performance by Olena Korotha on the violin and singers who treated guests to traditional Ukrainian songs.
