Selena Mowat who is exhibiting at An Grianan Theatre, Letterkenny from November 2.
FROM the co-creator of local art magazine ZWEEF and member of local artist collective Avant Garda comes an exclusive solo show by Letterkenny based artist Selena Mowat.
Selena studied painting at Dundee University in Scotland where she also taught Drawing and Painting for six years before re-locating to Donegal.
She will also be representing Ireland next year on a residency to France as part of the Culture Ireland programme alongside fellow Avant Garda artists Paul Rooney, Adrian Kelly, Damien McGinley, Joan Murray and John Canning.
The exhibition opens on Friday 2nd November at 6.30pm with complimentary drinks and cupcakes, a special performance by local singer/songwriter Taj Belle at 7pm and Art Raffle, where you can win one of the paintings on show as well as prints from Avant Garda Artists Collective exhibited during the Earagail Arts Festival earlier in the year.
