RAPHOE man Frank McBrearty junior has told the Donegal News he is ‘not a man to be messed with’.
The County Councillor and his wife Patricia successfully sued AIB and its investment arm in Northern Ireland for engaging in ‘negligent misrepresentation’ of the terms of an investment product they sold.
The couple had invested more than half of the €1.5 million compensation Mr McBrearty jnr received from the Irish State with the bank following the Morris Tribunal into garda corruption in Donegal.

Frank McBrearty Jnr first came to public attention as the innocent victim of a murder charge in 1996.
