DONEGAL County Council has granted planning permission to IDA Ireland for a development in Letterkenny.
The development comprises construction of a new advanced building solution consisting of office and light industrial/production spaces and vehicular/pedestrian access.
Also included is car parking, cycle shelters, landscaping and an independent ESB substation and switch room building at IDA Business and Technology Park, Carnamuggagh Lower, Letterkenny. A Natura Impact Statement accompanies the application.
Donegal County Council has given the green light subject to 22 conditions.
Prior to commencement of development, a detailed construction management plan must be submitted to the Planning Authority for written agreement.
The construction management plan must include details of noise management measures, phasing of the development, proposals for the storage and disposal of construction waste, and a construction traffic management plan.
Site preparation and construction must adhere to best practice and shall conform to the Inland Fisheries Ireland Requirements for the Protection of Fisheries Habitat during construction and development works at river sites.
An ecological clerk of works shall be engaged on site for the duration of the works to train, supervise, monitor and ensure the strict implementation of the ecological mitigation commitments.
Furthermore, the developer must comply with all mitigation and environmental measures set out in the application documentation, including those identified in the Construction and Environmental Management Plan submitted with the application.
Hours of operation shall be restricted to the hours of 8am to 9.30pm Monday to Sunday.
