HUNDREDS of crucifixes have turned up overnight on roads leading into Letterkenny.
Motorists have reported seeing the wooden crosses all the way from Bridgend and from the start of the dual carriageway to the Polestar Roundabout.

It is as yet unclear who is responsible for planting the crosses however it is believed they may be related to the abortion referendum.
Today marks one week until Ireland goes to the poll to vote on whether to repeal the Eighth Amendment.
