Hugely successful fundraisers for Doctors Without Borders

Harald Juengst and Reuben O Conluain with the cheque of €5,000 that will be given to Doctors Without Borders, proceeds from the launch of the CD Healing Hands and donations.

A MASSIVE €5,000 has been raised for Doctors Without Borders, the proceeds of which were raised through two launches of the CD ‘Healing Hands’ as well as generous donations.

A second launch of the CD took place recently in Leo’s Tavern. It followed on from the highly successful launch in Rann na Feirste, launched by Mairéad Ní Mhaonaigh, of Altan.

A host of Donegal musicians were brought together by Rann na Feirste’s adopted son Harald ‘Mór’ Juengst to compile a beautiful CD.

Healing Hands for ‘Doctors Without Borders’ features a selection of top class traditional and folk musicians and singers from Donegal.

The fundraising project was in the works for five years.

Harald ‘Mór’ Juengst paid thanks to everyone who attended the launches, bought a copy of the CD or who supported the fundraiser in any way.
