The HSE Nursing Service on Tory Island is unavailable on Saturday, November 1 and Sunday, November 2. All planned nursing care has been delivered.

A HSE spokesperson said: “We wish to apologise for this unplanned temporary gap in service. There will be an agency nurse covering the period from Monday until Thursday next week when the nursing rota will change over.

“The Assistant Director of Nursing responsible for the Island has provided all necessary contact details to those on the island who may need support over these two days. Local GPs, Pharmacies, Community Intervention Nursing Team, and the Coast Guard have been advised that the nursing service will be unavailable on these days.”
