Harps started well and had three chances to score before the eighth minute, but failed to convert any.

Bohs gradually worked their way back into the game, and they hit the front in the 28th minute when Dinny Corcoran notched a fine volley.

However, Harps equalised when Eddie Dsane scored a fantastic goal seven minutes later.

HT: Finn Harps 1-1 Bohemians

Harps hit their second goal in the 58th minute, when substiute Paddy McCourt found Houston with an exquisite pass, and the Letterkenny man finished into the corner of the net.

Ciaran Gallagher, who was making his 200th appearance for Harps, had to make a smart save from Ian Morris, but that was as close as Bohs came to levelling matters, and Harps survived six minutes of injury-time to collect all three points.
