House fire probe continues

INVESTIGATIONS are continuing following a house fire in Rathmullan on Monday. The house at Front Shore was completely gutted in the blaze which happened around 11.30am.

The house is a holiday home which is known locally as the Spout House. It was destroyed and an adjoining house was also damaged.

A number of units of the fire service rushed to the scene of the blaze which broke out around after 11.30am.

Nobody was hurt during the fire.

A full investigation has been launched into the possible cause of the blaze.
