PETTIGO man Willie Kelly has been awarded honorary life membership of the Irish Farmers’ Association in recognition of his long service and contribution to the organisation.
Making the announcement at the annual general meeting of the Co. Donegal Executive of the IFA in Letterkenny, County Chair Joe Sweeney said that Mr Kelly was responsible for setting up the Pettigo branch and had worked very hard in maintaining it.
Mr. Kelly was presented with a framed certificate to mark the occasion.
