Honorary Garda little Rhys Kearney received a special surprise when he was presented with his very own mini-Garda bike.
Sharing the news of his new transport the Little Blue Heroes Foundation said: “Honorary Garda Rhys got a great surprise from his colleagues at Donegal as he was presented with his own mini-Garda bike. This surprise comes at a great time to lift Rhys spirits before he goes for his operations in the new year. We wish him the very best.”
Rhys became an honorary Garda in the Buncrana District last year after graduating.
Little Blue Heroes aims to help families in need who have children undergoing long-term medical treatments for serious illnesses.
