Leo led a quiet and simple life. He was a man of the land and lived with a striking view of Donegal Bay. He was a farmer with a good eye for cattle. He delighted in listening to visitors by the fire at his beloved home and farm called Cashel. He was loved by and loved his family. I will always recall Leo stopping whatever he was doing and taking off his cap each and every day the bell rang the Angelus. He prayed alone and in silence for a few minutes. Then he’d fill the old pipe and have a smoke. He has come to God.
