Hit and run driver in Letterkenny urged to come forward

GARDAÍ in Letterkenny are appealing for the driver involved in a hit and run collision to come forward.

The collision at Port View Business Park on the Cullion Road happened on Saturday, April 22, at 11.45am.

A car was parked at that location and considerable damage was caused to it by another vehicle, possibly a black Vauxhall partial registration ‘152 DL’.

The driver of the car in question left the scene after the damage had been caused.

Gardaí say they are gathering and viewing all available CCTV in relation to the incident and have urged the driver in question to cone forward.

“We are interested in receiving dash cam footage from around that area between 11.30am and midday,” said a garda spokesperson.

If anybody witnessed what occurred then we ask them to make contact with us. Gardaí may be contacted in Letterkenny on (074)9167100.
