DMRT Cheque presentation.
MEMBERS of the Sliabh Liag Hillwalkers Club were delighted to present the Donegal Mountain Rescue Team with a cheque for €1,000 recently.
The money was raised through a fundraising walk on the Pilgrims Path, Slieve League on Sunday March 31. The leaders were Marion McGinley and Suzanne Walsh.
This important event is held annually to help raise funds for Donegal Mountain Rescue Team, all volunteers, men and women who are highly trained, they give up their time to help and rescue lost, ill or injured walkers on the mountains of Donegal.
