Killybegs Coast Guard were tasked this evening to a fallen hill walker at Muckross.
The casualty sustained a serious injury and was airlifted by Rescue 118 and transported to hospital.
Taking to social media this evening, a Killybegs Coast Guard spokesperson thanked the emergency services for their assistance.

“We would also like to thank to locals who helped us today.
“We wish the casualty a speedy recovery.
