HEEKIN, Liam

HEEKIN, Liam – Yeats Heights, Sligo and Carrick, Donegal and late of Malinmore, Co. Donegal (retired staff I.T. Sligo), January 6th, 2021, peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family. Dearly loved husband of Lucy (née Cunningham) and adored father of Sarah and Paul.

Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, brother Michael (Scotland), sisters Rita Doherty (Carrick) and Sadie Curran (Scotland), daughter-in-law Noreen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cherished granddaughters Síomha and Blaine, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Due to current Covid-19 restrictions family home, funeral Mass and burial are strictly private. Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon on Friday, January 8th in St. Joseph’s Church, Ballytivnan, Sligo. Burial follows in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Scarden, Strandhill Road, Sligo.
