Hedge cutting season gets underway

GARDAÍ in Donegal are urging road users to be careful when travelling, particularly on country roads as roadside hedge cutting season gets underway. 

Hedges can be cut between September 1 and March 1.

Gardaí are urging motorists to drive with due care and remain alert at all times.

A Garda spokesperson said, “Roadside hedge cutting season is in full swing.

“There will be a visible increase in this type of large machinery in operation along the roadsides over the coming weeks.

“Please drive with due care and remain alert at all times.”
