TERMON and Aodh Ruadh might’ve been more accustomed to playing in the senior championship in recent years but that’s not to say they wouldn’t cherish glory in Friday night’s All Sports Donegal Town Intermediate final.
Termon have competed in two senior finals in the last nine years, while Aodh Ruadh have the joint-second biggest haul of senior titles with twelve, two behind Gaoth Dobhair.
The tone from both camps in the build up to the game has been very similar: both see it as a stepping stone in the path back to the higher echelons of Donegal club football, but there is also a small concern that this could be the last chance to taste glory for some of their more-experienced players.
