Health and Beauty: Correcting uneven lips

Mary Ferry

ALL lips are not created equal, even the most beautiful pout can be a bit uneven. For some one side of the top lip can be fuller than the other, or the top lip is much thinner than the bottom.

The good news is that this can be corrected to create a luscious balanced mouth.
If you want to make your larger lip side smaller, use foundation to cover the lips completely, follow this with concealer and set with translucent powder.

Use a lip liner pencil the same shade as your lips to line the lips just within the lip line, or if you wish to increase the volume on the smaller side, use the lip liner to outline the lips just outside the natural lip line. To finish apply a coloured lip stick or gloss.

Avoid clear glosses with uneven lips because they will just emphasise the different sized sides. A great idea is to consider semi permanent makeup which will give a perfect outline and even fill in the full lip colour giving a beautiful finish which will last for years and years. Our semi permanent expert will answer all your queries on this treatment here at Genesis.
