Health and Beauty: A perfect father’s day gift

Father's Day

THEY might not admit it but men are just as concerned with their appearances, so this Father’s Day why not treat him to a few suitable grooming products or treatments.

There is one thing men do not like and that is fussing with skincare products and deciding which products to buy as most of them would not want to exceed more than three products in the bathroom anyway.

This year, when looking for that perfect gift for Dad, buy him something that he will use every day but would never think about buying for himself.
A great gift idea would be to treat him to the Gentleman’s Deep Cleanse Refresher Facial, this treatment is designed specifically for the skin-care needs of men, addressing ingrown hair and razor burn.

It involves a double cleanse, skin analysis, exfoliation containing glycolic to remove dead/dull skin, black head extraction, relaxing massage, followed by a suitable deep pore cleansing mask. A relaxing scalp massage is carried out while the mask develops. In addition to this they will receive expert advice on how to care for their skin at home.

Men like a very simple routine for home, just a cleanser, and moisturiser with a sunscreen. Once they get into the habit of using this and they see the results then a facial scrub can be introduced to be used once or twice a week.

I know that men are less likely than women to fuss with their skin and therefore, the simpler approach to skin care, the better.
Selecting an effective product for your Dad is another great gift as this eliminates the work of trying to choose the correct one from a large range of skincare products, all promising to give amazing results.

Men are prone to black heads and clogged pores mostly on the nose and forehead area and the best home treatment for this is to use the MD Formulations cleanser for men which targets these areas, deep cleansing and eliminating black heads and preventing ingrown hairs developed from shaving.

Using this daily will make a huge difference on the skin leaving it so clean and bright. Having been a skincare specialist for over twenty years, I can confidently say that men love facials and once they experience a facial they are hooked and once they use the MD cleanser they will never go back to using a bar of soap.
