Three Finn Harps underage players have been named in the Republic of Ireland Schools squad for this weekend’s friendly against Australia.
Loreto, Milford student James McAteer, Darragh Coyle of Scoil Muire Buncrana and Carndonagh Community Schools’ Oisin Cooney have all been named in the team for the game at Home Farm on Saturday (kick-off 2pm).
Goalkeeper Cooney made his Finn Harps debut in the final game of the First Division campaign in 2023 and came on at half-time in the 2-2 draw with Derry City on Sunday, while Coyle was introduced with 15 minutes remaining.
