Harps strike late to win five-goal thriller

Finn Harps 3-2 Longford Town

Success Edogun notched a late winner as Finn Harps defeated Longford Town in a five-goal thriller this evening in Ballybofey.

The home side started brilliantly with Max Johnston heading to the net after three minutes before Tony McNamee scored a beauty.

However, Longford battled hard and Jordan Adeyemo (penalty) and Dean O’Shea bagged goals for them.

Harps were the better team in the second half but struggled to find a third goal.

That was until the 85th minute when Sean O’Donnell set up Success Edogun who fired to the net.

There were some nervous moments at the death but the Harps defence stood strong to collect the three points.
