UCD 1 Finn Harps 1
Finn Harps picked up their first point of the season with a draw against UCD in the Belfield Bowl.
Darren Murphy’s men were in search of their first result of the season and it wasn’t looking too good early on as UCD had the majority of the first half chances, with Ronan Finn forcing a brilliant save out of debutant David Aziaya.
The Students did go ahead five minutes before half-time as a Jake Doyle cross from the left saw a bit of pinball in the six yard box, with the ball cleared off the line before it fell to Adam Brennan who fired in from six yards.

The lead didn’t last too long however and it was in somewhat similar fashion as Finn Harps had a couple of shots blocked before it fell to Gavin Hodgins on the edge of the box and he curled it in off the crossbar into the top corner.
And a few half chances fell to both sides after but after 96 minutes, nothing could separate the sides.
