HT: Finn Harps 0-0 Shelbourne

Harps went in front in the 52nd minute when Conor Tourish headed home from Barry McNamee’s cross.

However, they were only ahead for six minutes when James McKeown couldn’t keep Stephan Negru’s header out.

Rob Jones went very close to regaining the lead for Harps but he was denied by a stunning save from Brendan Clarke.

Shelbourne could have won the game in the 90th minute but Sean Boyd was denied by a great save from McKeown.

The game ended in a draw and Harps climb above UCD on goal difference after the Students lost 1-0 against Bohemians.
