Finn Harps 0-1 Cobh Ramblers
Finn Harps fell to their first defeat in six games, as they were beaten by Cobh Ramblers at Finn Park tonight.
Ollie Horgan’s side came into the game in good form, but they trailed at half-time after Cian Leonard put Cobh in front.
Harps’ cause wasn’t helped as Lee Toland had the be carried off with an ankle injury just before the break.
The Ballybofey men had a few chances after the interval through Michael and Ciaran O’Connor, but they couldn’t find the net.
The home team lacked creativity throughout the match, and yet they could have got an equaliser right at the death, but Michael O’Connor’s close-range shot was blocked, and Cobh held on to claim the spoils.
