TEN-MAN Finn Harps were knocked out of the FAI Senior Cup by Crumlin United at Finn Park tonight.
Greg Moorhouse scored the only goal of the game in the 49th minute to give the Dublin side – who won the FAI Intermediate Cup last week – a famous win.
Barry Molloy was sent off for Ollie Horgan’s team in the 61st minute, and Harps only created one real opportunity after that, but they couldn’t score.
Letterkenny Rovers lost out 5-0 to Crumlin last Saturday but they bounced back superbly tonight, and recorded a hard-fought draw with First Division side Athlone Town in Lissywollen.
The sides will meet again in the replay on Tuesday evening at 6pm in Leckview Park.
