Harps host fellow strugglers Cork

Finn Harps welcome Cork City to Finn Park on Sunday evening (kick-off, 5pm) with a massive three Premier Division points up for grabs.

Harps are a point ahead of basement side Cork, but team manager Ollie Horgan says his players will need to fond a greater level of consistency if they’re to avoid the straight drop to the First Division.

“We’re looking for a performance over the course of the 90 or so minutes. We haven’t had that yet. If we get a performance close to what we were able to muster in the first-half at Tolka Park, even over 70 or 80 minutes, we’ll have a chance.

“But if we get a performance like we gave in the first-half – over the course of the game – then we’re gone.”
