Wexford 2-0 Finn Harps
Finn Harps have dropped out of the play-off spots and into seventh place in the League of Ireland First Division after they suffered a fifth successive defeat against Wexford tonight.
There wasn’t much between the teams in a low-quality first half but then Thomas Oluwa fired to the net for Wexford in the 44th minute.
Harps trailed 1-0 at the break and they were slow to find their feet in the second half.
Wexford were lively and should have doubled their lead with Mikie Rowe hitting the post.
The Ballybofey men were very disappointing in the second half and they could have no complaints as Darragh Levingston added a second to Wexford’s tally in the 89th minute.
Wexford are now up to sixth in the table, ahead of Harps on goal difference.
