Finn Harps 1-1 Dundalk
FINN Harps picked up their first point of the season after they drew with Dundalk in Ballybofey tonight.
Harps were under a lot of pressure in the first half, but they defended bravely.
They then took the lead against the run of play when Keith Cowan headed home in the 41st minute.
Harps led at the break and they battled well for 25 minutes in the second half, before Brian Gartland provided the equaliser.
Both sides had chances to win the match after that, but the game ended in a draw. Tempers flared after the match with both teams getting involved in some pushing and shoving.
Harps return to action on Monday night when they take on St Patrick’s Athletic at Richmond Park.
