THIS evening (Friday) the Regional Cultural Centre welcomes one of the most extraordinary guitarists performing before the public today to Letterkenny.
Frank Vignola’s stunning virtuosity has made him the guitarist of choice for many of the world’s top musicians, including Ringo Starr, Madonna, Donald Fagen, Wynton Marsalis, Tommy Emmanuel, Mark O’Connor, the Boston Pops and the New York Pops.
Guitar legend Les Paul named Vignola on his ‘Five Most Admired Guitarists List’ for the Wall Street Journal and his jaw-dropping technique explains why the New York Times deemed him ‘one of the brightest stars of the guitar’.
Frank Vignola and the Hot Jazz Guitar Trio will be performing at the RCC this evening (Friday). The show begins at 8pm and tickets are €15/12. Tickets can be purchased from www.regionalculturalcentre.com
