Extra-time was required in Ballyshannon on Saturday as Burt suffered defeat in the All-Ireland Hurling Club Championship semi-final at the hands of Easkey.
Trailing by five points entering the closing stages, Enda McDermott’s men fought back to additional period of play, with Liam Og McKinney landing a last gasp equaliser.
However, the Connacht side pushed on in extra-time, outscoring Burt by ten points to secure their spot in the Junior Club Championship decider.

It wasn’t to be for the Hibernian Park residents but they can be proud of their efforts and have had a superb 2025 campaign, enjoying Ulster glory in the processs.
