All Donegal winter maintenance designated gritting routes will be gritted from 5pm this evening (Monday) and again from 6am tomorrow morning (Tuesday).
A yellow warning for snow and ice comes into force from 6pm with Met Eireann advising that “scattered wintry showers will give way to more widespread sleet or snow for a time overnight with the potential for small accumulations.”
Donegal County Council has advised that the gritting route index is as follows:
