GRINDEL, Margaret

GRINDEL, Margaret (née Cannon) – peacefully in the loving care of her family and staff at Letterkenny University Hospital. Beloved wife of Denis and much loved mother of Thomas, Gerard, Frances and Denis Jnr, cherished sister of Noreen and Seamus.

Very deeply regretted and sadly missed by her husband, daughter, sons, sister, brother, son-in-law Martin, partners Karen and Lars, grandchildren Katherine Rose and Hannah Mae, nephews, nieces, extended family, colleagues at St. Columba’s College, Stranorlar and very many friends.

Remains reposing at McCool’s Chapel of Rest, Ballybofey on Friday, January 31st from 6 pm until Rosary at 9 pm, followed by removal to her family home at Drumboe Avenue, Stranorlar. Visiting time at her home on Saturday, February 1st from 11 am until Rosary at 10 pm. Funeral leaving her home on Sunday, February 2nd at 10.30 am for Requiem Mass in the Church of Mary Immaculate, Stranorlar at 11 am. Interment afterwards in Drumboe Cemetery.

Donations in lieu of flowers please if so desired, to the Oncology Ward, Letterkenny University Hospital, c/o any family member.

Family time from 11 pm to 10 am and on the morning of the Funeral.
