‘Greedy’ price hikes see removal of Paddy’s Powerful Bottle from shops

PADDY Diver has spoken out against ‘greedy’ price hikes which led him to remove his product, ‘Paddy’s Powerful Bottle’ from a number of shops.

A former 100% redress campaigner for the thousands of families in Donegal living in defective concrete homes, central to Mr Diver’s cause was raising concern for the health and well-being of families, particularly the mental health cracks experienced by parents and children as the dire situation took its toll.

The Carndonagh man stepped aside from lobbying following the election of four 100% Redress councillors and a TD.

However, still central to his own personal manifesto is health, and he has turned his attention to helping people in a different way.

Having suffered with his own physical health issues for many years led him to explore more natural remedies. He is now the entrepreneur behind ‘Paddy’s Powerful Bottle’ – an immune booster made from ingredients and superfoods including beetroot, turmeric and garlic. The immune booster helps in the fight against painful conditions such as inflammation, arthritis, and osteoporosis.

Having started on a small scale using a household blender, the product has since been so successful Mr Diver now has staff and delivery drivers.

The product is available in a wide range of stores locally, throughout the country as well as in the North. It’s also available via postage.

Taking to his own social media, Mr Diver said: “Unfortunately, I have had to pull the bottles out of a couple of shops. They would not stick to the agreement of keeping the bottle (price) down at an affordable rate. They are charging extortionate prices.

“They moved the prices up with no permission from myself to €14.50 The shops had a couple of warnings, but they didn’t listen so we had no other choice.

“It’s a bit greedy.”
