It has been a great week for Dungloe manager Dessie Gallagher and it continues to improve as the bainisteoir was the winner of the Dungloe GAA 200 club draw.
Gallagher guided his side to their first Donegal SFC final for 60 years on Sunday as they defeated St Michael’s by 0-9 to 0-8 in the semi-final in MacCumhaill Park.
The Rosses Park side couldn’t have asked for a much better weekend which also saw their ladies team take the Intermediate title in their first year at that level, moving from Junior to Senior in 12 months.
But Gallagher’s luck was in this week and he, along with wife Marcella, took the top prize for the September draw.
Management’s luck continued as ladies mentor Robert Wehrley won €300 in the same draw.
