Good news! Weather to heat up as weekend approaches

DONEGAL is set for warm and sunny weather this weekend thanks to high pressure developing over Ireland.
Temperatures are set to rise to 23 degrees on Saturday bringing good spells of sunshine throughout the day.
Speaking to the Donegal News yesterday, Met Éireann Meteorologist, Emer Flood said there is very dry weather in store for the county and it will get sunnier and warmer as the week goes on.
She predicted Saturday to be the warmest with temperatures between 20 and 23 degrees.
Today (Thursday) will remain cloudy with sunny spells developing this afternoon.
Cloudy conditions could bring a spot of drizzle but it will remain mostly dry with temperatures between 18 and 22 degrees and it will be coolest nearest the coast.
“Heading into Friday it will start off cloudy but early morning mist and fog will burn off,” said Ms Flood.
“It will be bright Friday afternoon and temperatures will start to rise from 18 up to 22, possibly reaching 23 degrees inland. At the moment the weekend is looking bright, warm and dry.”
After some heavy rain last week the drier conditions will be very much welcomed so we can get out and enjoy the outdoors this weekend.
