In recent years he has lined out for United Counties League side Anstey Nomads, playing 186 games.

The former Swilly Rovers Youth player will remain on as a first-team coach with Anstey Nomads, but finishes up as a player with 479 appearances to his name.

“The gloves have been hung up for the last time,” Logan confirmed on social media.

“What a journey it has been.

“From being a 15-year-old boy coming to England with a dream of playing a game as a professional footballer to having ended up playing for 24 years.

“I’ve lived the dream.

“It has been a privilege to have represented to many fantastic clubs during this time and met so many great people on the journey, making memories that will last forever.

“Leicester City, Stockport County, Luton Town, Bristol Rovers, Rotherham, Rochdale, Boston United, Mansfield Town, Hibernian, Forest Green, Anstey Nomads – what fantastic clubs to have represented and a huge thank you to all the manager, staff, players and fans for all your support over the years.

“Like all journeys, it’s never all smooth and there has been bumps on the roads but I have always had the support of a great family. The low points made the many high points so much sweeter.

“The journey will continue from the other side of the touchline, managing and coaching to help others be the best that they can be and hopefully enjoy a career playing this great game.”
