“I would appeal for anyone who may have seen anything related to the incident, or the incident itself to please contact gardaí with any information you have and, if the information leads to a successful prosecution of the perpetrator, I am happy to give a €1,000 reward.”

A gardaí spokesperson confirmed that ‘a report was received on Tuesday, October 29 of damage to a gate in Glenvar.

“No further information is available.”
