GLENSWILLY third team manager Manus Kelly says a victory for them in the Senior ‘C’ Final this Saturday would cap a great week for the club.

The men from the Glen caused a huge shock when they defeated Kilcar in the Senior ‘A’ Final last Sunday.

Their victory sparked celebrations for the whole community, but Kelly says that his side were back at training on Tuesday night as they prepare for battle with Naomh Conaill.

“It’s been a brilliant week for us, and our biggest problem has been getting our fellas to stop celebrating and focus on their own final,” said Kelly, who is well accustomed to success after winning the Donegal International Rally earlier this year.

“We had a very good turnout at training on Tuesday night and everybody is in good spirits ahead of the weekend.

“We had a great league campaign and our only defeat was against Glenties. We know they’re a good team, but we think we’re in with a decent shout this week.”
